Abstract
In this lengthy review article of Y. Avishur’s 1998 edition https://biblia-arabica.com/bibl/VQSFYAXT of the anonymous Judaeo-Arabic translation of Isaiah and Jeremiah in Ms. Hunt. 206, Schlossberg recognizes the Ms. as a reworking of Yefet b. Eli’s translation. After citing previous literature establishing this identification for the Minor Prophets and Isaiah, Schlossberg considers the parallel renderings of Jer 2:18–25 and Ezek 26:3–10 in MS: Oxford, Bodleian Libraries, Hunt. 206 and Mss. containing Yefet’s translation to definitively establish the identification of the Judaeo-Arabic translation of these latter two books in MS: Oxford, Bodleian Libraries, Hunt. 206 with that of Yefet.
