Abstract
The author identifies an anonymous Arabic-script Qaraite commentary preserved in a Ms. of Samaritan provenance held in the Bodleian Library (discussed by her in her 1964 Sefunot article https://biblia-arabica.com/bibl/TV987DTD) with a Hebrew-script witness to Yeshuʿah’s short Judaeo-Arabic translation and commentary on the Pentateuch preserved in the National Library of Russia (per the excerpts of the latter published by Mann, Texts and Studies 2:34–35 https://biblia-arabica.com/bibl/VY7NMYSC). The parallel excerpts from each Ms. considered by Loewenstamm are from Yeshuʿah’s introduction and commentary (including glosses) on Gen 10, 11:1, and 14:1.
