Abstract

Short notes on four fragments of Christian Arabic Bible that were acquired by Tischendorf in the East in 1853. One of the earliest codices of the Pauline Epistles was brought from Sinai by Tischendorf and is today preserved in its two membra disjecta, MS: Leipzig, Universitätsbibliothek Leipzig, Vollers 1058 (=Codex Tischendorf 37) and MS: St. Petersburg, National Library of Russia, A.N.S. 327 [cf.
