Abstract

An edition and English translation of Yefet’s Judaeo-Arabic translation and commentary on Daniel, based on 9 Mss., two of which are written in Arabic script, though these two are rather fragmentary. Margoliouth nonetheless transcribes the entirety of his edited text, which is attested primarily in Hebrew-script Mss., into Arabic script since he considers all the Hebrew-script Mss. to have derived from one Arabic-script archetype (pp. xi–xii).
