Shehadeh, Haseeb. “Some Reflections on the Arabic Translation of the Samaritan Pentateuch.” Nordisk Judaistik 14, no. 1 (1993): 36–44.

Abstract

The author reiterates the results of his previous research on the Arabic translation of the Samaritan Pentateuch with a few additional observations and considerations. It is still unclear where and by whom the translation was created, though it may be assumed that it emerged between the end of the 10th and the beginning of the 11th centuries. The author reports that he has been able to examine 95 manuscripts so far, but refrains from listing them in detail.
