Abstract
This present publication is based on the doctoral dissertation of the author. It contains an edition of two Arabic versions of the Book of Ruth, both based on a Syriac Vorlage. There is a full description of the available manuscript sources. Apart from that, his discussion mostly centers around linguistic features of the Arabic text.
