Abstract

An edition of 9 separately-indexed fragments from al-Qūmisī’s Hebrew Bible commentaries, containing sporadic Judaeo-Arabic glosses of biblical words and phrases. MS: New York, Jewish Theological Seminary, ENA 2778 has been previously published by Marmorstein in his 1916 JA article https://biblia-arabica.com/bibl/6C8TWKBT. The fragments cover (with lacunae) Gen 1:2, 27–2:5, 11–17; 6:5–7; 18:1–3(?); Exod 25:37–26:25; Isa 16:3–9; Pss 17:4–15; 73:3–82:8; Song 4:1–6; and Dan 9:24–27.
