This group is comprised of texts which are dependent in varying degrees on modern Christian Arabic translations. The author describes seven manuscripts, five of which had been dealt with but classified differently in his previous publications and two new ones. The reason for these adoptions may have been the wish to produce translations closer to Standard Arabic, though commercial interests may also have played a role in some cases.
